Tried this last weekend back in KansasCity:
1. Roscato Rosso Dolce IGT: Provincia di Pavia (7%; PalmBayImports) Trento NV: Med.dark color; strong blackberry/boysenerry/grapey very Lambrusco-like bit earthy nose; very light frizzante very grapey/Lambrusco-like blackberry/boysenberry off-dry light earthy/loamy flavor w/ light gentle tannins; med.long very grapey/Lambrusco-like boysenberry/earthy off-dry finish; a bit on the soft side but a dead-ringer for a Lambrusco. $13.69 (GMT)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. When I go down to ElDorado, near Wichita, to visit my niece & her husband, I like to take a few wines to try on them. I had some salamis and wanted something to accompany them. The wine exactly fit the bill. I also took a Malvira Birbet Brachetto, another of my favorites. Alas, it was rather on the tired side and not so hot.
