2013 Ferdinand Wines Tempranillo - USA, California, Sierra Foothills, Amador County (11/17/2017)
A couple of years in the cellar has taken this to the next level. It still has a full core of dark red fruit, but now shows leathery elements, and some warm herb accents. It's still velvety, so very easy to drink, and the depth promises further profitable aging.

Might be my favorite CA vineyard, now that Monte Rosso is under the total control of The Empire.
