A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. After the spectacular '15 Pagani the other night, I was expecting a lot from this wine, despite being a few yrs beyond Eric's drinking window. But it had lost a considerable amount of fruit and was well on its downside. Not a lot of pleasure to drink.

I cannot remember the last time I bought a Pagani Ranch.

Ehhhh...old age catching up w/ you here, David??

I tend to like the Paganis because they're often the most interesting, to me, of the Ridge Zins.
But this makes me question their longevity. I think the Geyservilles and Lyttons are
a bit more reliable agers.

More like lack of availability. And I prefer Lytton and Geyserville.

I have decided to just stick to Geyserville, occasional Petit Sirah and a very rare Motebello (out of my price range :( )

Just saw Claude Kolm’s notes on the 2015 Pagani. He hated it.

The Estate Cabs are pretty good (if still pricey, not insanely so). We tried the 2012 and 2013 side by side and the 2012 is already lovely.
