by trisha-mae.ong » Mon Dec 04, 2017 1:56 am

Hi everyone, good day to all of you! I'm new to this forum ^^, I have been drinking red wine for more than 3 years, have tried a few wines such as merlot, cabernet sauvignon, syrah, malbec, montepulciano, etc from different years and origins. now I want to try two different wines for a change and for more wine experience these are Madiran wine from france and Sagrantino from montefalco Italy unfortunately i couldnt find any store in manila where i can find these kind of wine. i am hoping that there are awesome people here who can answer as to where i can find these wines in manila. Thank you in advance! *cheers* :D

Let me see if I can round up Jay Labrador, he lives in Manilla and is very much an expert on fine wine.

Trisha, while we wait for Jay Labrador to come in, here's another approach. This link goes to a list of approved Philippines wine shops on Wine-Searcher.com. Click the list, and then you can click individual wine shops' names to go to their websites.

I hope this is helpful!

Hi Trisha,

Welcome to the Forum!

For Madiran, try Sommelier Selection on Pasong Tamo tel. 840-4211. You might also want to try Terry's. As for Sagrantino, I'm afraid I've never seen this in Manila. Sommelier Selection might also have it but I'm not sure. Just PM me if you need any more help.

Trisha, you might also want to try Rustans and Marks and Spencer, at least for the Madiran.

Hi Peter,

Yes! We have M&S here! They recently celebrated their 20th year, if I'm not mistaken.
