2013 Roses de Jeanne / Cédric Bouchard Champagne Blanc de Noirs Côte de Val Vilaine - France, Champagne (12/3/2017)
Disgorged 3/2015

Pow! This was like a shot to the jaw. Tasted (three times!) as part of a big walk-around event, it woke me and Laura up, and made its presence known. Power, balance and complexity all wrapped in one package, that belies the “entry level”cuvée cost. This is fantastic Champagne with lots of room to grow, but that is also incredibly delicious right now.
