WTN: Jaffurs PetiteSirah ThompsonVnyd '16...(short/boring)

Working on my Jaffurs futures, tried last night:
1. Jaffurs PetiteSirah ThompsonVnyd/SBC (ArchibaldCuvee; 14.7%; www.JaffursWine.com) 2016: Very dark/black color; very intense boysenberry/blackberry/PS/blueberry slight peppery/licorice light toasty/oak quite fragrant nose w/ lots of bass notes; soft ripe/rich/licorice/chocolaty intense blackberry/boysenberry/PS bit peppery (Thompson terroir?) light toasty/oak rich/lush/mouthfilling flavor w/ ample soft/ripe tannins; very long/lingering soft ripe/lush/rich intense boysenberry/PS/blackberry/licorice/chocolaty light peppery/spicy light toasty/oak finish w/ ample soft/ripe tannins; speaks of Thompson peppery and huge PS fruit; may be a bit overblown for some tastes but I love it; doesn't show the coarse/rustic side of PS; should age very well from my experience despite the low acidity. $33.75

2. I have, of course, followed the Jaffurs PS from the very start, when the very rare ArchibaldCuvee first made its appearance. It is, consistently, one of the best PS's made in Calif.
