Steve brought this as a mystery wine last week:
1. DelasFreres AC: Cote-Rotie (12.5%) 1990: Med.color w/ some browning; beautiful classic NRhone/espresso/roasted/smoked meats fully mature/complex nose; lightly tart very strong NRhone/roasted/espresso/smoked meats slight earthy/dusty little fruit quite complex flavor w/ light gentle tannins; very long/lingering pungent/smokey/roasted/espresso/smoked meats/classic NRhone finish w/ light gentle tannins; a beautiful example of a fully-mature or a bit beyond NRhoneSyrah.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. For a basic negociant C-R, I was amazed as to how good a shape this wine was in. Probably a bit beyond its peak, but quite beautiful/complex.
