WTN: Novy Syrah SonomaCnty '10...(short/boring)

by TomHill » Wed Jan 10, 2018 1:21 pm

Also cracked this Mon night:
1. Novy Syrah SonomaCnty (14.6%) 2010: Dark color w/ no bricking; very strong blackberry/boysenberry/Syrah/ripe slight peppery somewhat smokey/Siduri oak/graphite very attractive nose; rather soft rich/lush/bit porky strong blackberry/Syrah/spicy/boysenberry/light peppery strong smokey/Siduri oak flavor w/ light smooth tannins; very long strong ripe/blackberry/Syrah/spicy/bit peppery some smokey/Siduri oak/graphte bit soft/lush finish w/ light gentle tannins; quite a nice/drinkable Syrah probably as good as it'll ever be.

1. This is Adam's basic Syrah. Not a profound Syrah, but just mighty good drinking for the here & now.
