2009 Rhys Pinot Noir Family Farm Vineyard - USA, California, San Francisco Bay, San Mateo County (1/16/2018)
If you served me this wine blind, I would guess funky Chateauneuf, or maybe something a little slicker, perhaps Crozes but still with a serious, funky bent. So this is clearly one of the brett affected bottles (a known issue with 2009 Family Farm), but interesting in its own right. It’s just not what I want from Pinot Noir.

There was a winery in Russian River Valley, Moshin???, that released one wine that had this "issue". definitely some brett...they knew it, they released it anyway because some people liked this element in that particular wine (and they had several single vineyard pinots not so affected!)
