More LoyalHound dinner wines w/ Jake/Chris/Morgan:
8. Limerick Lane Zin 1910 Block Estate/RRV/SonomaCnty (15.4%) 2011: Dark color w/ no bricking; very strong blackberry/
boysenberry/Zin/spicy quite dusty/OV light toasty/oak bit complex nose; fairly tart bit lean/angular some blackberry/
boysenberry/Zin/lightly spicy slight toasty/oak flavor w/ light gentle tannins; very long some blackberry/boysenberry/
Zin light dusty/OV finish w/ light smooth tannins; seems further along on its maturity and not the intensity of fruit
of the '15; starting to show a bit of age but more complex & some old-Zin character and more toasty/oak and not as
rich & lush; still should go another 2-4 yrs.

flavor w/ modest ripe tannins; very long/lingering bright/blackberry/boysenberry/very spicy/Zin slight peppery finish w/

a beautiful Zin that will go out 6-8 yrs.

And a wee BloodyPulpit:
4. LL: The '11 vintage was the first year of ownership of LL by the Bilbros. Jake doesn't feel that they were really
on top of their game, farming-wise or winemaking. He feels that the '15 vintage was the first they really knew
what they were doing w/ LL grapes. I would agree w/ that. Although the '11 wines were very good, I feel the
'15 wines are the best ever off the LL vnyd. Both of these Zins show no alcoholic heat nor seem on the overripe
side.
