WTN: Donnafugata SurSur Grillo '16...(short/boring)

Tried this last night whilst cooking:
1. Donnafugata SurSur Grillo DOC: Sicilia (12.5%; www.Donnafugata.It; www.FolioWine.com; L1738) Marsala 2016: Med.gold color; pleasant apple/pear/mango slight saline/mineral/stony slight spicy/apple pie nose; lightly tart/tangy somewhat earthy/stony/chalky light apple/mango/pear/pineapple flavor; med.long some tart/tangy rather earthy/chalky/stony light apple/mango/pineapple finish; a bit pinched & simple but an altogether pleasant white...but just that, nuthin' more. $21.00 (KK)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Grillo: A natural cross between Catarratto X Zibibbo, which would suggest its origins are in Sicily rather than Apulia. It survives high temperatures and dry conditions found on Sicily. It is the primary grape used in Marsala, but has been found more & more as a dry wine.
