Antinori Pèppoli Chianti 2015 Review

by Tristan B » Sun Feb 18, 2018 6:35 pm

As I have already had the pleasure of enjoying their 2014 edition, I was informed that their 2015 edition, coming out soon, could be even better. Here is my review for the 2015 edition, and if you are interested my review on the 2014 version is also on the forum.

Pleasant aromas of cherry and leather on the nose. Not too much else I can sense. On the palate, more cherries, sweet grapes and other fresh dark fruits. This wine was enjoyable and I gave it approximately 2-3 hours of time to breathe. Although, in my humble opinion, I believe that the 2014 edition deserves a spot on every wine lovers rack, for this one I cannot definitively say the same. It was very good, but not super good.

Now, if you have not already I highly recommend grabbing a bottle of the 2014 edition since there are still some on the shelves. All in all, a very interesting wine.
