Monte Zovo Sa' Solin 2014 Review

by Tristan B » Sun Feb 18, 2018 7:47 pm

This wine was picked up for $18.95 and just amazes me. It is a Corvina blend from Veneto, Italy. After approximately three hours of breathing, I experienced notes of black currant, cranberry, parsley with underlying notes of leather and cherry. The palate was great with fresh cherries and black currants towards the finish. All while a pleasant aroma of sweet fruits filled the area around me. Finish is fresh and not dry. A great deal for the money! I would recommend this!
