WTN: Novy Syrah ChristensenVnyd '06...(short/boring)

Tried this last night:
1. NovyFamily Syrah ChristensenFamilyVnyd/RRV (14.4%; www.NovyFamilyWines.com) SantaRosa 2006: Very dark color w/ little bricking; strong blackberry/boysenberry/Syrah/spicy classic Siduri oak/smokey slight black pepper fairly complex lovely nose; soft/smooth/lush rather spicy/blackberry/Syrah/light peppery strong Siduri/smokey/Fr.oak very slight tangy/metallic bit complex flavor w/ light smooth/ripe tannins; very long classic Siduri oak/smokey strong blackberry/Syrah/spicy/bit peppery some complex/mature Syrah finish w/ light smooth tannins; lots of classic Siduri oak but plenty of ripe Syrah fruit; probably not going to get any better & should drink up.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Adam&Diana are, of course, known for their PinotNoirs, and rightfully so. But I find I like more his Syrahs and Zins. He doesn't get the recognition he deserves for his Syrahs. And so reasonably priced.
Not sure if Syrah fits into his new Clarice program.
