2015 Dirty and Rowdy Mourvedre Old Vine Rosewood Vineyards - USA, California, North Coast, Redwood Valley (3/21/2018)
This is a wine that speaks with great urgency, yet it speaks in a whisper. It commands attention without dominating the conversation. The fruit, spice, earth and mineral elements all play notes in the harmony. This is a particular wine in the Dirty & Rowdy canon, as in fact they all are. It speaks to where it comes from. It speaks its origin in a whisper. The whisper says “Rosewood.”

Intriguing, because what you write could have been about the last mourvedre I know Ron Berglund to have made at Swan. '97 maybe it was? Incredible wine. Lithe, crunchy, peppery--had no idea mourvedre could be like that. I bought a case.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
