WTN: We are the Gibourg - lower your shields and surrender

2009 Domaine Georges Mugneret/Mugneret-Gibourg Bourgogne - France, Burgundy, Bourgogne (3/22/2018)
Delicious, and with room to grow, this bottle showed vibrant red fruit, excellent depth, and after 3 hours, earthy, spicy nuances that just needed air to shine. These was still a bit of mid-palate/finishing tannin that was amply supported by the fruit, so if someone were to still have any (I don't) there would be no fear in holding even for several more years. Amazing stuff, as usual, from Mugneret-Gibourg.
