A friend just sent me a link to a book on Orange Wines coming
out in July/Aug:

by Simon Woolf. Looks to be an interesting book. Hopefully w/o the polemics/evangelistic fervor
w/ which SweetAlice writes.

Hmmmm....not so sure I agree w/ that, Chaim. Certainly a lot of the hip somms are pretty evangelistic in
their fervor for the genre. But those who make orange wines aren't nearly has obnoxious as many of
those who make natural wine. Since I've not seen the book, don't know that Simon is evangelistic
or not.

Although the book has not yet been published, Simon has already written a fair amount about orange wines. Of course he is enthusiastic, and certainly would want to persuade you to try them, but I wouldn't use the word evangelistic.
