WTN: Kabinett meeting

2007 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett Halbtrocken - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (4/16/2018)
This is my last bottle, and I wish I had 6 more. What a lovely wine this is right now. It still has fresh, crunchy fruit, the salty, stony, ice cold stream water freshness that underlies the best of Mosel Riesling, and a fresh acid spine that lifts the wine, and the meal. There is just the barest hint of any sweetness left on the front end, and the wine finishes totally dry. Such a joy to drink, it's a model for German wine at the dinner table.

Selbach-Oster is one of my favorite producers! I look forward to reading about your Riesling adventures! I recently picked up a 6 pack of their "Rotlay" hoping the snow will go away soon so I can get them shipped out.
