Bought recently at the Party Source in Bellvue Ky. the 2015 Barter & Trader Cabernet from the "shadows of the Cascades" but cellared and bottled in Paso Robles Ca. was actually quite satisfying with lots of sweet cherry flavors and a dusty quality of that fruit on the nose. 92% CS , 4% CF and 4% Merlot................Columbia Valley AVA abv of 13.9% Andrew Jones winemaker....
might be more interesting in 7-8 more years. second annual edition VOLUME TWO (#2)

I've seen this brand around. One wine seller in particular pointed one out to me, and I asked, "Yahbut, if they drink Paso wines and produce wines for people used to higher octane, can I not expect these wines to be in an overtly ripe style?" He grinned sheepishly, so I passed. I'm impressed that the alcohol on your bottle was relatively sedate.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
