Another invitation to dinner, pasta with clam sauce and salad

2016 Biondi “Outis” Etna Bianco
I liked (as did others) when I opened and poured. Peppry spice and pit fruit. But as I finished my first small pour I thought I got a little whiff of cardboard. Smelled again, seemed clean. But a resmell led to more TCA notes. Some disagreement, but I think everyone eventually agreed mildly corked. Move on.

2016 Cirelli Trebbiano D'Abruzzo
Sweet fruit, could use a little more acid, modest length. B/B-

2012 Cedrick Bardin Sancerre
Unsweet fruit, could use a little less acid. This was tart and harsh, green fruit, even for me, C+

Fun night if not wine standout.

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice.Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.
