WTN: Lagier Meredith Syrah

Lagier Meredith 2007 Napa Valley Mount Veeder Syrah. Very aromatic, both floral and meaty, with a dense, chewy palate. Early in the bottle, out of this density of flavor, one sustained red-fruit note lingers in the mouth for what feels like forever, becoming brighter before it finally flashes out. Later in the bottle, darker and fuller fruit comes into the foreground. Although this was expressive, it clearly has many years of development left ahead of it...

Still have a couple of 2007 left. Sounds like the proverbial drink or hold.

Yup, and I’d lean toward hold.
