Cusomano Nòa 2014 Review

by Tristan B » Thu May 17, 2018 7:26 pm

Hello everyone, I'm back after many months of exams, projects, renovations and work, I finally have time again to post some reviews. Here is a new one I tasted. It is a Sicilian rare red blend and definitley full bodied. I found on the nose it brought lively aromas of fresh blueberries, dark cherries and some spices. Continuing to the palate it had more fresh blueberries, leather and some dark cherris with a fresh, crisp finish. I would definiley recommend trying this. Lot's of fun to finish the whole bottle.

After a bit of searching, I discovered this is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Nero d'Avola barrique aged with 14.5% alcohol. At first sight, that specification coupled with the Sicilian climate (except at high altitudes) would not attract my palate but I would happy to be proved wrong.

Tristan, were your parents fans of Wagner like me?

By Wagner do you mean Wilhelm Richard Wagner? If that is the case, then no. I was happily surprised by this wine since I'm not much of a blueberry person. It wasn't too pricey so maybe you should give it a try.
