2012 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (6/2/2018)
This took a good hour plus to open up, but after that it was fresh, electric and very precise. Ripe apple, salty lime (yes, like a margarita) and firm acids made for a very appealing package. It was still very young from the screw cap closure, so more patience than I had would have been good. There was a time when I had a half dozen bottles, but they are now all gone too soon. Victims of deliciousness.
