Tuscan Fiano?? Who'd have thunk? Couldn't resist trying:
1. Otto Muri I Collazzi IGT: Toscana Fiano (13%; The Sorting Table; www.Collazzi.It) Impruneta/FI 2014: Light gold color; lightly fruity/vaguely grapey slight earthy rather simple/quotidian light pleasant enough nose; bit soft lightly fruity/grapey simple/non-descript light earthy rathe dull/non-distinguished flavor; med.short vaguely grapey/fruity bit earhty somewhat soft slightly earthy/stony totally undistinguished finish; classic Oakland wine.."there's no there/there"; no Fiano character that I can recognize. $23.00 (KK)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. I cracked this wine with no great expectations. It totally delivered on that. Like most all the Tuscan Vermentinos I've tried...it was totally undistinguished.
