Wanted a white for dinner last night, so cracked:
1. Harrington Fiano FratelliVnyd/SantaClaraVlly (14.1%) 2012: Med.dark gold color; quite perfumed foral/Fiano/apple/apple blossom/apple pie/quince/juicy slight spicy/nutmeg/cardamon bit toasted marshmallow light earthy/stony bit complex lovely nose; lightly tart fairly rich/lush quite floral/appley/Fiano/apple blossom slight toasted marshmallow/cinamon toast spicy cardamon bit earthy/stony/steely flavor; very long/lingering spicy/cardamon/nutmeg toasted marshmallow strong floral/Fiano/appley/apple blossom/quince light stony/mineral/earthy finish; developing some complexity; shows very fragrant flral/Fiano fruit; not as earthy/stony/rustic as many Italian Fianos; blows away the recent Otto Muri Toscana Fiano. $25.00

soft/lush/textured quite perfumed/floral/carnations slight honeyed/candied/mango very attractive flavor; very
long honied/candied soft/ripe/lush perfumed/floral/carnations finish; has the softness of the Campania versions
but not the stony/earthy character of them; seems riper than last yrs and more like a GrenacheBlanc; quite an
attractive/ripe white. $25.00

Doesn't seem to have changed a whole lot over the intervening 5 yrs and retaining a lot of its beautiful aromatics.
Alas, after the '13 vnyd; this vnyd was paved over for a housing development.
