2015 Bedrock Wine Co. Heritage Wine Gibson Ranch - USA, California, North Coast, McDowell Valley (8/4/2018)
My last of three bottles, and gone too soon. Too soon, not because they were not all excellent, but because they were all excellent, and I wish I had more. Texturally rich and silky, it reminded me of the best vintages of Geyserville or Lytton Springs. The plum and berry fruit was sweet in tone, but totally dry in palate impression. Perfectly ripe, and immensely pleasurable, it showed what ancient vines can do.
