Liked this a great deal and it's definitely well above the 'everyday' level (unless you live on Aubert the rest of the month) another CT reviewer unfairly alluded to. Rich yellow color, concentrated flavors with assertive SCM minerality. Every sip gets better and more complex--needs an hour decant to get to a reasonable starting point, though.

SCM minerality? In the Anderson Valley? That's some magic Chardonnay!

(I have not used the candy reference. Would not have thought to use it, as I loathe the things.)

Drinking a 2014 Rhys Alpine Vineyard Chardonnay right now, and it is great. It’s Ramey Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay great.
