I had the distinct pleasure of having a second closed pipe recently. The first was on my heart, which is all fixed now. The second was a completely clogged sewer line that runs from our toilet (and sink/tub drains) down past my passive wine cellar and then out to the two-stage septic system. The only way a plumber could access and replace the clogged pipe was to work exactly where my wines were stored. All 12 shelves needed to be moved out and of course the wines that were resting on them 2-deep. Over the next few days I'll move all the shelves and wine back to the insulated alcove. I did find a few treasures I thought were consumed or else in my off-site storage; 2007 Agharta Syrah, a 2000 Clos du Sarpe and a 1998 Pegau. With my stamina a bit lower than usual this process could take a few days.
