2014 Rhys Chardonnay Alpine Vineyard - USA, California, San Francisco Bay, Santa Cruz Mountains (8/15/2018)
This is beautiful Chardonnay that mingles citrus and tropical fruit, with a deft level of oak spice. The acidity keeps it refreshing, and the finish is long, and full of both the fruit and spice. Balance is spot on, so short to mid-term aging should be no issue, but I am happy to drink it now.
