An excellent example of what grand cru red Burgundy should be: aromatic, complex, classic aged wine color, strong get gracefully balanced flavors. And thankfully not corked like the last one I opened. The 1994 vintage had lots of problems for the Cote d'Or. This apparently is one of the better examples. There's some austere acidity poking out at the edges, and it's not as forceful as other examples of de Vogue's Musigny VV that I've tasted. It's aged well. Alas, my last bottle.
Double Curly, with a hint of Moe.
