More ekerspottle from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. The previous week, we tasted a bunch of whites from Balanced Wine Selections, an importer who also does DTC sales.
The wines were, for unknown producers, outstanding. We returned to order two more cases worth. This tasting again
focused on more wines from BWS, mostly red this time. They were not quite as outstanding this time around, but
they were, across the board, very good wines at very fair prices.

2. Condrieu: These two Condrieus were, I thought, quite decent solid expressions of Viognier in Condrieu. And at
reasonably fair prices. That siad, didn't feel compelled to order more btls of them.

3. Schiopettino: This is, of course, the variety that was rescuced from near-extinction by Paaolo Rapuzzi at Ronchi
di Cialla. Now deceased, RdC is run by his sone, Ivan. It is pretty much the gold standard when it comes to Schio.
But I was fairly impressed by this Brolio and will go back for more. A grape they should be planting all up&down
the Coast of Calif.
