Tried this last night with my fresh tomatoes & burrata (huge fail):
1. Dom.du Petit Metris AC: Coteaux du Layon Chaume (12%; BotiqueWineCllctn; 100% CheninBlanc) Joseph Renou et Fils/Saint-Aubin de Luigne 2010: Deep gold/burnished bronze color; beautiful botrytis/peachy/apricotty/honeyed bit orangey slight pineapple quite complex nose; lightly tart fairly sweet (6%-8% r.s.?) very strong botrytis/peachy/apricotty/ripe mango slight mineral/chalky rather complex flavor; very long/lingering very strong botrytis/peachy/apricotty/mango rather sweet bit stony/mineral complex finish; a beautiful dessert CB w/ loads of botrytis; should go another 10-20 yrs; a beautiful botrytis CB at a stupid/silly price. $26.00 (KK)/750 ml

1. Not familiar w/ this producer that I can recall. I was pretty much blown away by this wine, especially for the price. I'm going back for more.
Way too sweet for the tomatoes. Had to go with a left-over Malvasia d'Istriana. OTOH, the SF Farmer'sMarket tomatoes were the best I've had this year.
