WTN: Dipoli SauvBlanc Voglar Sudtirol '15...(short/boring)

Tried last night w/ my fresh tomatoes:
1. Peter Dipoli SauvignonBlanc Voglar DOC: AltoAdige (14%; KermitLynch; www.PeterDipoli.com/) Egna 2015: Light gold color; fairly intense herbal/melony/ripe/SB some earthy/chalky/perfumed talc light forest floor/resiny fairly complex attractive nose; quite tart/tangy very strong herbal/ripe/melony/SB rather perfumed talk/chalky/bit earthy slight ripe/melony/pineapple fairly rich quite attractive/savory flavor; very long/lingering rather herbal/SB/melony/ripe some earthy/chalky/perfumed talc fairly tart/tangy finish; a rather classic Alpine SB; reminds a lot of Steiermark/Styrian SB but more intensity and not as wussy as many of them; really quite an attractive SB. $34.00 (KL)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. My first experience w/ a PeterDipoli wine. It comes from an area named "Voglar" which means "fireplace". It was a vnyd planted originally planted to Schiava but grafted over to SauvBlanc around 1990. I was impressed w/ the balance in this wine of ripe SB fruit w/ the earthy Alpine white character of the Sudtirol. Does it have TEPF?? Haven't a clue.
