A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This wine comes thru the Teixeira Wine Group in Oakland. This appears to be their only wine as of now. There WebSite has virtually nothing on it. Run by some guy named Marc. Appears to be a brand-new startup.
These are all indigenous grapes to Portugal.

Your link to Rita Marques' Concieto goes somewhere else, try http://www.conceito.com.pt/love instead. I've had several wines from this producer and they tend to be pretty nervy for Douro wines, possibly due to the cooler, high altitude locations of their vineyards. Most Douro wines, like this one, tend to be blends of the varieties planted originally for Port production. The most noted Concieto wine is probably the varietal Bastardo (aka Trousseau, from the Jura), which is quite a bit more delicate than you typical Douro bruiser.
