2010 Domaine Bernard Baudry Chinon La Croix Boissée - France, Loire Valley, Touraine, Chinon (11/13/2018)
Early days yet for this big boy of the Baudry lineup, but it still offers a great deal of pleasure. Deep red fruit and substantial tobacco aromas, are supplemented with earthy, herbal notes. It’s rich in overall volume, but has a level of austerity on the palate that creates an interesting tension in the wine. I would wait another couple of years before having another bottle, expecting an overall long, positive future.

Great pun! Great wine, too. I just opened (sacrificed, really) my 09 a month or two ago. Huge wine, very surprised.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
