WTN: Garetto Grignolino d'Asti '17...(short/b)

Saw this wine from a new producer (to me), so gave it a shot:
1. Tenuta Garetto Dd'OC: Grignolino d'Asti (14.5%; EnotecaImports; TenutaGaretto.it/en/home-en/) Agliano Terme 2017: Very light/almost rose/light garnet color; very fragrant/perfumed strawberry/raspberry/Grigno/floral/rose petal light earthy/dusty rather spicy/cinammon quite attractive nose; quite tart/tangy strong floral/rose petal/strawberry/bright very spicy/cinammon light earthy/dusty flavor w/ light bit tangy tannins; long bright/spicy/floral/rose petal/strawberry/raspberry bit earthy/dusty finish w/ light spiky tannins; a lovely expression of Grignolino just one step above a rose but way more interesting than a Grignolino Rose; a classic light-weight Grignolino rather glou-glou red. $23.00 (AV)

1. This is a new property acquired by the Gagliardo family in 2017. They make mostly Barbera from vines dating back to 1935. I'd like to try their Barberas if I can track some down.
Grignolino is a grape they oughta be using a whole lot more in Calif as it can make such a pretty wine.
