2009 Jean-Marc Burgaud Morgon Côte du Py - France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Morgon (12/8/2018)
Classically Burgaud, with rather hard tannins, smoky fruit and a minty edge. Twenty four hours of air softened it up a bit, bringing a measure of pleasure, but dang this is tough stuff. Who knows if it will ever truly open up.

I've got the '10 Reserve. Two bottles left. Based on my experience with the first two, and recent notes from others--I might never get around to drinking them.

I have the two named cuvées from 2010. I am sure they will outlive me, and be surly well beyond my finish line. I wish someone had warned me about Burgaud.
