Happy new year Robin.

We’re ringing in 2019 with the flu at Schloss Bueker. Hopefully we get better soon, and back to wine.

Good health to all in the coming year!
Chico - Hey! This Bottle is empty!
Groucho - That's because it's dry Champagne.

I hope you're feeling better soon, David. Flu at New Year's is no fun. I got socked with flu in late December one year, and it completely knocked out my sense of smell. I was determined to celebrate New Year's Eve anyway, and being too ill to cook anything I got some take-out Chinese. Alas, with no sense of smell the Chinese food just tasted salty and the Champagne just tasted sour. :( The only silver lining was that I'd been too ill to clean out the cat box for several weeks, and no sense of smell was a blessing for that chore.
