Tried this w/ Susan's family over the holidays:
1. Radio-Coteau Riesling PlattVnyd/SonomaCoast (12.6%; U; www.RadioCoteau.com) EricSussman/Sebastapol 2013: Med.gold color; beautiful R/floral/mango strong mineral/flinty/bit steely strong Mosel valve oil/gout de petrol rather complex nose; tart/steely/tangy light R/floral/mango quite steely/flinty/taut/mineral some Mosel valve oil structured bit complex lovely flavor; very long/lingering light floral/R/mango quite mineral/flinty/chalky some gout de petrol taut/wirey/bracing lovely finish; as good as R gets in Calif; reminds some of Alsatian R back in the pre-Z-H days; should continue to age for another 10 yrs.

1. I've been finding some of the R from out on the far SonomaCoast are outstanding. There should be more planted out there. Whatta shame Hirsch pulled their R.
