2013 Pegau Reserve: Yah, I had a wild hair to see what this wine was doing. Maybe a 98, 2000,or 2001 would have been a better choice (my 99's are long gone) but hey, I learned something. This wine was pretty muted for the first 1/2 hour but came on strong as the meal continued. Some plum fruit but mostly that "garrigue" (sp.) note that RMP talks about, not Brett but quite funky.
DNPIM until 2025 and you will be most rewarded.

Regardless of the lack of vinous maturity, it still sounds pretty good!
