2012 Foillard Cote du Py

Guests left but Bob and I each felt like a little something more, so I opened this lovely guy. It's coming along beautifully; I know '12 wasn't considered a great vintage but the '12 Foillards I own lack for nothing in the way they are maturing. Bright, spicy cherry pie in a bottle along with that mysterious green quality that Dale so aptly named 'geranium leaf'. I taste it in most Beaujolais now.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Well, I'm sure they lack a bit of density. But who's counting! And who needs density in every bottle anyway...

Rahsaan, I would call it medium bodied. Not dense, but neither was it a lightweight. It was just, well, Foillard!
