Tried this sample from DCV last weekend:
1. DryCreekVnyd Chard DryCreekVlly Estate Block 10/RRV (Hrvstd: Sept18 2017; 100% brl frmtd; 60% ML frmtation; TA: 0.58%; SaH: 23.1 Brix; 14.1%; 1262 cs) 2017: Light gold color; some toasty/butterscotchy/Fr.oak strong lemony/melony/Chard/bit spicy/nutmeg quite lush classic RRV Chard lovely fragrant nose; fairly tart very strong ripe/melony/Chard/lemony fairly strong toasty/butterscotch/Fr.oak quite rich/lush balanced some spicy/nutmeg flavor; very long/lingering rather tart ripe/melony/Chard/lemony some toasty/butterscotchy/Fr.oak rather rich/lush balanced finish; a lovely full/rich lemony/melony classic RRV Chard much like the Hanzell's of old but not quite the structure; should go out at least 5 yrs; a wonderful Chard at a very fair price. $34.00

A wee BP:
1. DCV is making wonderful wines these days at very fair prices. Alas, nobody gives a rat's a$$ because nobody's interested in good drinking wines at a fair price unless they have some buzz about them. But I'll gladly drink them.
