2000 Trimbach Pinot Gris Réserve Personnelle - France, Alsace (3/15/2019)
Six years ago I said drink up. Turns out I still had one more bottle, and I opened it last night. Still very fine, with candied pear, spice and good freshness. No sense that the wine is tiring at all. 2000 has been a much maligned vintage, but Trimbach did very well.

Thanks for notes. Not a big fan of 2000 Alsace, but glsd this did well. I just stumbled across a 2001 of this in cellar, despite not being a big PG buyer, any recent tries?

Nope. All my 2001 Trimbach $$$ went to the CFE variants, and a couple of CSH.
