WTN: Robert Weil Riesling Kabinett '05, Paul Mas Que Sera Sirah Shiraz '04

Robert Weil Riesling Kabinett 2005 - Lots of pineapple and some apricot on the nose. Very ripe and viscous. Quite rich for a kabinett. Sweet but with good deal of acid for balance. Long finish with some citrus peel character. Excellent wine.

Paul Mas Que Sera Sirah Shiraz 2004 VdP d'Oc - I bought this because of the name. Very dry with lots of dried herbs and dried fruit characters. Smoky, dusty, some coffee after some airing. Medium bodied and quite smooth. Can be drunk now. I find this so dry it's difficult to drink by itself although it paired well enough with lamb chops.

Que Sera Sirah Shiraz.....how could I miss this one?!!!!

Jay, thanks for the notes. So this wasn't the Trocken from Weil? I've not found that to be a very lovable Kab, but we don't see any others over here.
