WTN: Brovia Barolo Villero 2008

Lockdown Wine #117. Apparently, I had this just shy of a year ago.

Lots of sediment stuck to the bottle. Brick edge, nice florals on the nose. Roses, but no tar. Already soft. Ripe fruit, rich, meaty, spicy. Surprised to see 14.5% alcohol - certainly didn't feel like it. Very nice drink and in a good place, even if popped and poured. Slightly bitter finish, but good length. Thoroughly enjoyed this. Good match for truffle ravioli and sausage calzone.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.
