The kind where you never leave home, that is.

2010 C.V.N.E. (Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España) Rioja Imperial Reserva Tempranillo
Drank over two hours. Blackish red color with burnished edges indicates some age. Very dry with black plum, grilled tomato and black licorice on the palate and initially firm tannins that ease up over time. The last sip was the best. Closing in on its peak zone but not quite there yet. Check again in another year.

2017 Barone Pizzini Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Pievalta
Lemon, green apple, mustard seed and bitter almond on the finish. Excellent structure and acidity--better in fact on Day Two than Day One.

2019 Albino Armani Pinot Nero Delle Venezie
Delightfully light and bright; feels Italian while still being unmistakably pinot. Perfect with Chinese food.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
