Craving a lighter style red, I opened this last night to accompany a healthy vegetarian dinner of roasted broccolini with tomato salad. Liked it initially but the wine eventually turned cloudy and the last pours (we typically get six pours out of a bottle, if we finish it) were a toss. Between that and the $35 price, however, why would you invest in this when for less you could have had a far more satisfying Cru Beaujolais? You wouldn't.

Yep. I really like the A-R Gamay. Not paying for it when I can get Steve Edmunds' Gamay for much less, and Thivin Cote de Brouilly for much less as well.

$35!! Poor choice indeed, my Duboeuf was very good.

Years and years ago, I'd take Beaujolais Nouveau to Thanksgiving dinners. People seemed to expect it. But now since we can get a Morgon 2019 Cru for $10 why do that? At our LWS.
