WTN: Trousseau to Life

  • 2014 Arnot-Roberts Trousseau North Coast - USA, California, North Coast (12/2/2021)
Magic from magnum. I finally gave up trying to find an occasion, and just opened the thing. What a beautiful wine. Bright, fresh red raspberry fruit, accented by a bramble, earth and herb background on the nose, it’s just as fresh on the palate. I would never, ever guess this was seven year old Trousseau. Just fabulous.

Wonderful! I recently bought an American Trousseau myself, from Oregon. The retailer that sold it to me apologized for the price (around $60) but said it was the first he's ever had that could compete with the best from France, so I bit. Haven't opened it yet.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Got 2 Sandlands Trousseau, 2016 and 2017. Both about $38 w/tax & shipping. Planned for 2022, 2025. Will be our first Trousseau.

Any input appreciated, as always.

Open soon. The more I drink them, the more I find that Sandlands wines are at their best early in life.
