1. St.Amant Vintage Port AmadorCnty Reserve (19.0%) St.Amant Vnyd/Camino 1983: Med.color w/ some browning; rather grapey/porty not particularly alcoholic fairly pencilly/oak rather oldPort fairly complex nose; soft slightly off-dry strong grapey/porty lightweight/delicate some pencilly/oak very attractive complex flavor w/ light gentle/smooth tannins; very long grapey/porty/spicy slightly sweet delicate/elegant some pencilly/oak lovely complex finish w/ light gentle tannins; alcohol not shows at all; a quite delicate/elegant slightly sweet red not strongly porty; has developed very nicely.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This is one of the early St.Amant Ports. Their schtick was making Port from traditional Portugese Port varieties, which I presume they used in this Port. One of the better evolved Calif ports I've had.
