WTN: 2004 Glaetzer Godolphin Shiraz

by Mark Wickman » Fri Feb 23, 2007 1:42 am

The nose is dominated by rich, dark mocha and a dusty perfume of intense plum and rasberry aromas. The palate is long and elegant with blueberry, coffee and aniseed the predominant flavours and a hint of dried fruit on the finish. The entire package is framed by chewy tannins and tightly knit chocolate/vanilla oak.

I just wish I could find more Glaetzer wines up here but very limited availability. The ones I have tasted have been very good!
